With his dad's statement of knowing his son is innocent but could say why I'm wondering if he called his dad after it happened and tried to "explain himself" and his dad told him to lay low. Those phone records should be interesting.

They were very close to letting him out after only serving 10 years for running over a cop and killing him
And it’s not like he was just hammered drunk and happened to run over a random cop
The cop stopped and pulled him over, and when the cop reached into his vehicle he slammed on the accelerator to run away and dragged the cop 200 yards to his death
That case rubbed me the wrong way when it was happening

Looks like it may have been two cameras set to overlap to make one big picture and whoever recorded on their phone just followed her. You can see where she transitions from one camera to another in the middle of the street.
