Country Day in Fort Worth is a $26k tuition high school. Its the sixth most expensive private school in DFW (Shelton is north of $31k)

Also I found this interesting. Nashville's most expensive schools are in line with that.

I would've guessed Dallas had some $50k a year prep schools.

Back to this kid, he is fricked.

I'm starting to wonder if the confession rumors are true. I mean, caught with bloody clothes, her personal belongings, and the murder weapon. And there is surveillance of them together just before she was killed.

This could be the easiest murder trial in the prosecutors career.

That kind of money is nothing. I'm just saying, I doubt he stuck out as being more rich than other kids unless he had a side hustle.

You act like every school doesn't have wealthy students. OM does not stand out as being more wealthy students then any other SEC school, well then the avg anyway.

I agree that type of money is nothing. But what I'm saying is that to look rich in college doesn't take much actual money. Parents can spoil a college kid with something like $30-40k and they can look rich as shite in college with new cars, tons of money, etc. That doesn't make their parents wealthy, just stupid. Then there are plenty of students who you'd never guess parents were loaded.

I agree with the Caterpillar.

But it might be higher than $200k. Lots of seven figures to up that average. Median is probably six figures.

If you don't live here, you don't get it. Ole Miss culture is different than other SEC schools. The Instagram culture fits right in up there. The first weekend that State's new football coach was in town - his high school daughter was on the Square taking selfies for her Pennsylvania friends.

Welp, this has taken LSU's hazing issues off the front page for the foreseeable future.

Maybe times have changed, or maybe Ole Miss has always been different, but at LSU, in even the top tier chapters the vast majority were plain old middle class. There were a few uber rich but not that many. The Tri Delt president my senior year was the daughter of a truck driver for Coca Cola. I'm glad I had to work. It kept me out of trouble.

wonder how many years his family will try to keep this in court?

I honestly think he wouldn't last a month in Parchman!

Of course every school has wealthy students. Ole Miss has way more than the average school. Its a public SMU with low admission standards. Very attractive to wealthy Southerners the way that USC is popular with the Hollywood crowd.

Hell, there was a report last week that the median family income for out of state students at Alabama was $400k. Ole Miss is more than that.

No defense attorney presents evidence in front of a grand jury panel. Prosecution only.

Of course it is. My comment was meant to be taken in the context of this conversation.

This conversation is talking about white kids in major 4 year Southern colleges that run in fraternity type crowds/circles.

That is nothing in those circles.

I guess I will have to defer to yall considering the Greek life is not a big thing at A&M so I wouldn't really know. That just seems insane

Now, filter by white kids in greek organizations. Which is like half of Ole Miss.

There are plenty of foreign and AA students that weigh that down.

This is railroading the conversation though.

Every time Ole Miss is discussed in a general forum the conversation devolves into an off-topic discussion about how rich Ole Miss kids are - it's like clockwork
