Not all schools have the same metrics when it comes to grading systems, most especially private schools. Its possible none of his failings transferred to his next school like a public school student.

Well, his dad is a well-off doctor and I’m sure his $ had something to do with it.

We used to joke that if you had a pulse, you could get into Ole Miss from out of state. They want the tuition checks.
Honestly, a ton of people fail out freshman year because they have such loose admission standards and the party scene eats them up. But Ole Miss doesn't care, they got a couple of semesters of out-of-state tuition checks from rich parents in Texas/Georgia/Louisiana/etc.

Chi Psi was much much smaller and I don't remember them throwing parties. Beta actually threw parties.

Again, this is the popular rumor. He had her purse, phone, his bloody clothes, and the murder weapon still on him when he was arrested.
I have speculated that he was fleeing to go dump those things out of state. But I don't know.

Nah, Delta Psi was the academic fraternity...nerdy, but also a lot of future leaders/politicians. Also a bunch of Asians when we were there.

They threw some parties. One of my cousin's classmates from high school was president and I went to one. It was freaking AWESOME and I mean that in a hilarious way. It was straight up lamda lamda lamda and Omega Mu party. That's why I mentioned Chi psi.
