The vast majority of people are talking about how these baws are fricked socially. Today's society by and large typically rejects people who engage in outwardly and unapologetically racist acts. They will likely have difficulty finding good jobs with this showing up whenever someone googles their name. I don't see anyone clamoring for them to do hard time in prison.

I don't think anyone disputes the nature of the issue that led to the death of Emmett Till. If you want to say a woman lied about him, I'm not surprised by that at all.
What happened, and how people reacted to it then and react to it now, are not things that hinge on the actual facts. They are visceral reactions to the fear of emasculation, and examples of the blind rage of the impotent.

He had his life cut short because of a few racist pieces of crap. There was nothing evolutionary or any word to excuse what they did. The guys who tortured him were monsters. Unlike Till they sadly got to live long lives without having to pay for their crimes because of racism.

I’ve passed by this sign numerous times in the last 5-6 years and every time I notice that the sign has been shot at.
Is it stupid to pose by this sign with firearms and then post it in Instagram? Yes, but is there proof that they shot the sign? What if they were out riding backroads drinking and came across this sign that was shot up? In their drunken city boy logic, maybe they thought it would be funny to take a pic with the shot up sign in BFE and the guns that were in their truck.
