I just find it interesting that you attack the old man for using bad words, but don't seem to consider that he may not have been the instigator.

Also, what bias?

The very obvious one you have that makes every excuse for pujols and paints the old man in the worst possible light.

Probably true, but not when the person is a feeble 77 year old. THAT is the story.

Man Code (1) - Don't cross a line and talk unnecessary shite to a stranger if you aren't prepared to take a punch in the mouth.

Man Code (2) - Don't punch women, children or the elderly.

2 trumps 1.

Completely agree. I don't care what was said, you can't go around knocking out 77 year old men. Even if he didn't hit is head and die, he's going to have severe injuries and who knows what else. A word is not a death sentence.

Of course, if this were a video of some Antifa punk getting punched for calling someone a bitch then I have a sneaking suspicion that many on here talking about how soft it is to resort to violence because you were offended by a word would be standing and applauding at their office desks right now.

This world is exhausting.

The Dunkin Donuts in Florida are pretty bad when it comes to service and quality.

ANTIFA punks go out looking for trouble. We do not have facts on why the old man felt the service was so bad he had to go inside, nor do we know what was said by him and to him prior to the hit that killed him. Slightly different situations.

You get on people for assumptions then go on to paint some wild narrative you came up with in your head.

Idc about Pujols or the old man. I knew the article would get attention here so I posted it.

You already have your mind made up.

Depends on if he has priors. Maybe less than 10 if convicted on manslaughter

Maybe he was working that shitty part time job because he was on parole and had to have a job.

I mean, yea. I was showing that more than their assumed scenario is possible.

I do have my mind made up that no name calling justifies killing someone. Pretty reasonable IMO.

Also, did you forget to switch accounts before making that reply?

You’re making it seem as if death was the intent here instead of just punching a dude. This could happen to you at a bar if you clocked someone.

Normal people don't punch other people over meaningless words.

I don’t care if he punched him or even if you think it’s right or wrong to punch someone. Just stating why it was manslaughter and not murder. Y’all’s emotions would do well at the nail salon.

For going inside to yell at a minimum wage Dunkin Donuts employee because he wasn't getting drive-thru service. Just go to another restaurant. It doesn't mean he should have been punched, but it does mean he's a hot-head piece of shite. Is that really difficult to understand?
We have no idea if the man was even yelling yet

All we know is that he went inside because he wasnt being served

If expecting to get served your food after you pay for it is batshit level entitlement, then guilty I guess

Once again, how do you know this?

Honestly, I don’t. I just assumed a typical street thug wouldn’t waste his time in such a job.

I’m not defending the guy though. Killing someone is much worse than allegedly being called a word.

I never attacked him for using bad words. I said he's a hot head for going inside to yell at them. The argument had to end to some respect so that he could go park his car and go inside to further instigate.

I haven't made a single excuse for Pujols, I just said this old guy was an idiot for going inside to yell at him. I've even said Pujols should be in jail either way.

You're obviously the one with the bias because you're making every excuse for the old guy and painting Pujols in the worst possible light. This is comical.

Making a whole lot of assumptions even in this

I have made zero definitive statements about either of them other than Pujols should not have killed the guy over words. You're right, this has been comical.

Impressive mental gymnastics. He could have just left. Once he decided to go back in, he was looking to escalate the situation. AKA: Trouble. That also doesn't mean he deserved to die.

It's amazing how each side will scream 'we don't know the whole story!' when it's convenient to the worldview they support but if it doesn't then it's 'string that piece of trash up' after reading the first paragraph of the news story. Is moral consistency really that hard?
