Of course, if this were a video of some Antifa punk getting punched for calling someone a bitch then I have a sneaking suspicion that many on here talking about how soft it is to resort to violence because you were offended by a word would be standing and applauding at their office desks right now.

We have had that thread numerous times, a lot of "talk shite get hit" related posts

Impressive mental gymnastics.

Impressive facts you mean?

It's amazing how each side will scream 'we don't know the whole story!' when it's convenient to the worldview they support but if it doesn't then it's 'string that piece of trash up' after reading the first paragraph of the news story. Is moral consistency really that hard?

I have not defended the old man once in this thread. I have simply said we don't have enough facts, I would say the same if the races were reversed

Whole lotta downvotes, yet no one will try to counter. Classic

might need to bump the thread about the old man that got shoved by the cop at the BLM protest

lots of "old man should have backed off if he didn't want any" comments in that thread

You really think that's an apples to apples comparison to this situation?

It very well could be if we ever get to all the facts of this one, but we aren't really ready for bumping threads.

You concluded all of that based on he had a job at Dunkin Donuts?

You mean the old man who staged an interaction and fall with a cop at a BLM protest? You might not want to go there.

Street thugs are usually proud that they don’t work “real” jobs.

I’ll admit that I made a bunch of assumptions.

No. I didn't say it was good writing. I said it was bad writing to use the same word twice in a statement where one use of the word was apt, but I also said that is not the way I would have written it, and gave a more clarifying example.

You decided you wanted to argue with me as soon as you saw me post, just like you decided this article was outrageous and you needed to correct anyone who didn't think it was so offensive.

This is what you do.

I don’t care if he punched him or even if you think it’s right or wrong to punch someone. Just stating why it was manslaughter and not murder. Y’all’s emotions would do well at the nail salon.

This is a really weird response to my first post in this thread.

Were the reactions to the video online staged too?

This is hilarious.
Tell us what he said. Tell us how he was a hot head. Be specific.

Again, you know no details of the conversation or how aggressive he was or was not. Pure speculation on your part. If the races were reversed your speculation would be 100% called racism.

That's not the post I'm referencing.

And you're making up a bunch of bullshite right now because I used your own words against you. It's what you do.

No, it was obvious it was staged from the beginning and people reacted in kind.

Not revisionist at all. Just looking at the video one time made it was obvious it was staged. Some random dude decided to video this random old guy as he gets in a cop's face? Yeah right.

Some people are capable of seeing through obvious bullshite. A great many people here for example knew Jussie was lying the second the news hit about his "ordeal."
