Does anyone else notice this really strong pesticide smell whenever they cross the old bridge ?

I went over it today and my truck air vents smell like roach spray 2 hours later ?

Is the EPA aware of this?

It’s the artificial vanilla flavoring being made at SOLVAY.

It's always smelled like carpet cleaner to me. I'm sure it comes from that Honeywell facility.

About 8-10 years ago, Honeywell had a chemical release that killed one or two employees

Nothing at that Honeywell facility really has the ability to hurt you.

I love the smell of lawsuits in the afternoon.

That doesn't mean it can't smell though.

I went over it today and I did not notice anything out of the ordinary. Just the same normal shite smell that is always around that area.

I use to commute down I-110 and I would smell a strong pesticide smell around 4 AM with a strong NW wind.

Acetic Acid would be about the only smell you might pick up. Virtually everything else is almost odorless.

No.

The Solvay site uses sulfuric acid.

I always thought it was from the plants near by.
