You are making about as much sense as a submarine with a screen door.

This thread is a train wreck...
Posted on 8/23/22 at 10:22 am to jpainter6174
As I wake up this morning and my thoughts clear... I immediately check my bank account for overnight deposits that a good thread will bring me. But I didn't find any.
Can someone please link for me what a good thread is and how it will benefit my life. Thanks in Advance.
As to the Deputy that was killed yesterday.
I am reminded of every discussion with a liberal "Defund the Police" person that I have had a conversation with for the past 6 years since Kap Started Kneeling.
The argument all ways goes something like this.
Me: "More Police are killed every year than Unarmed People."
Libs: "They knew the risk when they took the job."
So last night and this morning I have to wonder. This was such a simple thing as serving an eviction notice yet it cost the cop his life.
I wonder did the small property owner every march in a BLM protest. Did he write his legislature to defund the police, or did he support NFL players as they took knees on the field for the Flag?; Only to use a LEO that actually spared his life. As in the fact the property owner could be dead this morning, instead of the sheriff...
ALl I know for a fact is that the Property owner went before a Judge and expected the Officer to do his duty and serve the eviction, and that LEO did his duty regardless of the Landlords Politics.
The community is taking this one a little hard this morning. While I didn't not know the man, but others that I know did.
But I am about to sit here and pay my electric bill, and I am searching for my money that I get from TD for great threads. Or maybe just how a great thread will alter my life and make it better...
awaiting link. Thank You.
RiP Sergeant.

I thought I read where the shooter was also shot and killed. I was apparently mistaken.

You could have started out that this was personal, those baws might have cut you a little more slack.
No one understood wtf you were talking about. You posted a link with no information about it and then blindly accused everyone of something that I'm still trying to figure out.
Have another cup of coffee. Seems like your community is hurting today.

Oklahoma County isn't exactly BLM protest country. You won't find many fans there of "defund the police."

Agreed on all counts Sir. I was on my second bottle of wine last night and I was rambling.
But my statements this morning about internet message boards, You know, if nobody posted anything this board would not exist. and asking anyone what a good thread is, is about like asking everybody what their favorite song it. Every answer would be different and at the end of the day... A great thread on TD does not effect my life at all... There is no extra money in my life, no lowering of my bills, no happy old lady, no extra dog food. nuttin.
Only entertainment for myself and others.

This is one weird thread. Your incoherent ramblings aren't helping you to make whatever point it is that you're trying to make.
I will say that you seem to have made a LOT of assumptions about "small business owner".

I've always enjoyed your threads, your historical knowledge, and insight to all the stuff that you do. When I read that confusing stuff last night, I just assumed that you had been in the sauce a little bit and I was, of course, unaware of any connection to the death. Having said that, I think you can understand why people were piling on you, as it really made zero sense whatsoever. And while you're somewhat helping your case a little this morning, I think the best tact, at this point, would be to just apologize and let it go.
Either way,
I look forward to your next finds with your collection.

Cops should go in with force and kill suspects who don't comply immediately.

Yep, put it in the filing cabinet under "Cops."

I have edited the OP for a little more respect and bumping with a little more info.....
Turns out that Sergeant Swartz was a Motorcycle Rider and visited many of our Establishments and events around town...
Here he is wearing a T-shirt of one of our local Live Music Venues...
If you notice this picture.. The first 20 or so men are wearing Motorcycle Helmets... Both OKC PD and OK Co.
It turns out that I know the second Deputy that was shot...
Mark Johns...
I knew him when he was a simple police officer before he went to County. Last time that I saw him he was riding an Oklahoma County Sheriff Harley Davidson Road King, but that was 30 years ago. He jump on officer Swartz to protect him from more gunfire and was shot in the artery and required surgery. He is in good condition.
The Suspect fled the scene in a truck pulling a boat on a trailer with the rifle. For some strange reason he wound up at the Airforce Base with closed front gates on lockdown. (Young white redneck methhead punk high on a shot getting evicted)
There are multiple Events, outpouring and Poker Runs scheduled to help.
note* I will address my posting skills another date... ty

I saw this thread last night. Had to come check it out again. How many of these discussions have you had?
And I am still confused. It seemed like this event triggered some other stuff.

I would think this is drunk posting but I saw your actual drunk posting earlier in the thread. Holy shite, I know I get a little loose when I drink too, but I don't forget English and lose all mental function.

In my opinion, this is how excessive force happens. Police officers hear about this and are just too alert on future interactions with suspects.
I get it. They should be trained, blah blah blah. I even think they should be punished and held to a higher standard. I just think this is the other side of the story that doesn't get told.

Its not about benefiting your life, its about other people knowing what you are talking about.
I get it, you were drinking and rambling some bullshite, but even with this post you are all over the place.
An example of how this would have been better received would be if you started the thread with a more accurate title "Oklahoma Country Deputy Shoot and Killed Serving Warrant".
Then include what happened and that while you didn't know him, you know people who do.
And look, I know they put themselves in danger, but according to indeed.com being a police officer is the 20th most dangerous job. Commercial Fishing is #1, Logging #2, etc.
And personally, I don't support all cops equally and it seems like there might be more to this story as well..
But make it about the individual, not about all cops.
