How this is down voted is ridiculous.

It is murder. She set him up.. and shot him. This is so unnecessary. I don't care what she said she was doing. The guy, even despite his shock, still seemed calm enough in the video you could see. She just casually shot him too.. Fired right away. My goodness. You can't just take a life like that. She seems to have zero emotion as well.

It was also ridiculous of her to plan to arrest this guy with her young scrawny son as well. At least he was emotional to her shooting him. The son was even like, "Mom..."

The guy she shot did everything to avoid even touching this woman.. He moved himself away from her. He didn't want to be arrested by her. And he immediately loses his life over that? That quickly.

This seems contradicting. Which is it.. He was fleeing to the window or heading to the desk.

And exactly how is he going for a gun that is inside a drawer.. I doubt seriously he even knows the gun is there.. Look how casual she goes to the gun and the way she just shoots it was so careless. They lock this man in a room, then attempt to arrest him and shoot him because he goes to the window with no where else to go.. Why couldn't she just call the police before she met with him? Regardless of her intent, she was so irresponsible here and needs to be accountable for taking a life so unnecessarily. She should be in prison.

I love how everyone immediately decides she's guilty of murder without hearing any of the evidence presented to the jury.

That said, the video supports the idea that it wasn't premeditated and therefore the prosecutor overcharged. There is likely more to the story than this.

That was not murder. Had they included manslaughter she'd be in jail today. That said, it's not like she killed a productive citizen, so I'm not sad that he died.

So it's not crime you think is a big deal, it's life. That's backwards.

I love how everyone is an expert on Oklahoma first degree murder and "premeditation."

First degree murder in Oklahoma is murder done with malice aforethought. It requires proof that someone made some prior deliberation to murder someone. It doesn't mean you have to stake out their house for weeks or anything, it could be as simple as setting them up and killing them when it goes south.
