The problem you are seeing is the acceptance of subjective truth over objective truth. The subjective truth about this is that people believe there is a systemic issue with racism within the police community and the evidence for this is the stories of blacks being killed by whites and cops making national news so often as well as everyone they know believes it as well. Add to this that at one point this was truly the case and you can see how the objective case became a subjective case and continues as such.
What's interesting is to see what happens when someone like that is confronted with objective truth. Although it's a bit of a different topic you can almost see the dawning realization on this guy's face as he begins to wake up. LINK

Being raised with a stable father figure is very important. Instead these kids have a mother that serves no discipline and teaches the problems in life are "other" peoples fault. Never teach to take responsibility for your own life.
