Zenni does not require an actual prescription. You just enter in your specs.

If your actually blind or wearing bifocals or have astigmatism I’d recommend buying from an actual optical retailer. Turns out it actually helps to have someone who knows what theyre doing make them sometimes. If you’re just a little blind no big deal. Doctors offices never have many fashionable frames to chose from.

Plant baws, where do you get your ANSI Z87 prescription safety glasses?

Weird question, but can I use my prescription for sunglasses and have insurance pay?
Pro tip - never ever trust what the etch of schlubs in the billing department says your amount owed is. The people in the billing office of a doctors office can make so many mistakes it's ridiculous. Often times it's just on accident, but either way you have to double check with your insurance company first.

$39glasses.com.....basic pair will never cost over $39 and prescription sunglasses $49. Bought several pair and they usually discount basic glasses at about $20. Highly recommend.

Right. I’m referring to people complaining about getting an annual eye exam for a new prescription when their vision hasn’t changed.
Zenni doesn’t require you to upload a current prescription and they do not contact your doctor. You simply enter the numbers off your old prescription to order what you want.

Not a plant baw, but I get mine direct from WileyX or from a local eyeglass place that carries various safety frames.

Got my last set at Costco. Good frame selection, and great prices.

Buy the frames on Amazon and let them put the lenses in the frames.

Selectspecs.com has good selection of frames at different price points. It’s based in UK and doesn’t require copy of prescription which can be convenient if you want a new pair without a new eye exam if there is no change to vision.
