Albert said the suspect, who police identified as Matthew Pancake, was found sleeping near the Big Lots on Roberts Road at 4:47 a.m. Officers arrested him and discovered there were four hamsters in his pants.

Guy was the talk of the radio show here yesterday morning. Broke into a few businesses, the last one being the pet store where he let the animals out of the cages and stuffed the gerbils in his pants. I suppose the local DJ’s played up the gerbil angle.
