It doesn't suck that he can be harmed by what he posts. You're free to say what you want but you're not free from the consequnces. When you are a public figure, you have to carefully consider what you say and post. And there is no such thing as anonymity.

I've wondered how often TD mods and owners are contacted about public figures posting online.
Or another scenario - A campaign offers TD owners money to discover if any politicians or candidates have been or have in the past posted on TD.

Seriously though. You could make big time bank on a site like this.
Keep a searchable database of every IP address and name you can attach to your posters. Run a search of every candidate's name. Find one? Call the opponent and tell them you have the goods and will sell it for the right price.
