What could they be hiding? Too much misinformation and now they are not even releasing info that might be pertinant to the search

I hate to suggest this is mere incompetence, but this search has not exactly been the paragon of professionalism - IMHO.

Well - the crazy speculation that has been floating around, everything from a rogue North Korean missile, to a collision with a stealth aircraft (presumably, U.S.) to a hijacking resulting in a Malaysian (or Thai/Vietnamese/Cambodian) shootdown (and, of course, aliens)...

I'll admit - a report about the course change, then flooding the Malacca Straits with search parties based on that report, and THEN have the Malaysian military walk that back in less than 24 hours... I just don't know what to think about that. It certainly could be deliberate...

Trying to find small fragments of a plane in miles and miles of water is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack of this thing went off course that makes it even more difficult to find. I wouldn't call it incompetence yet, it took 5 days to find the air France flight in the Atlantic and that plane crashed on course.

How could they have missed the wreckage in the location near that rig? That would have been one of the first areas searched and surely would have left a lot of debris.

Oh shite! Some serious news broke overnight!

We got government cover-up conspiracies all over the place! We got oil rigs and fisherman claiming to see it go down in completely different areas!

DON'T NO ONE KNOW WHERE THIS PLANE IS.

What's that? You thought this game was over?! NAHHHH. We still going strong, baby!

Guess that means you need to PLACE YA BETS.

FYI: You can change your guess depending on what breaking news comes out.

We got a whole mess of internet points up for grabs, folks.

I think the Malaysians made a stupid mistake and they don't want to admit it.
