Tomnob images were supposed to be from two days after crash or something like that.. looking for wreckage.

The comments imply it's faked. I don't know, just passing it along.

Not at first. Plane is flying, blind no with no transponder, military will be ordered to intercept. SAM will not shoot. (Only DC is reported to have permanent SAM sites, but who knows? They put them in NOLA for the 2002 Super Bowl) Fighters will intercept and and interrogate the "hostile"

Here is the actual procedure AIM from the FAA for pilot s found in this situation by error.

It's interesting, but I would expect people to find many planes in the air on those pictures. Unless the photo was taken at the right time and all other planes have been ruled out by checking all flight paths in the area at the time of the picture, I'd say the chances of this being MH370 are really slim.

Probably the worst fake I've seen in this whole thing and that's saying something.

I would agree with you that it was horribly faked if it wasn't for the fact that the plane is in the air. People in the comments are assuming it's on the ground and that's why they say it's a horrible fake.

But it could be the plane is flying low over an isolated jungle.

That doesn't mean shite. I used to land at random places all the time on FSX.

If you had just hijacked a 777 and flown to that area it would mean a lot.

Seems solid, show us your plan prior, identify yourself correctly with the proper instruments at the proper distance or get intercepted.

Any idea the distance of the ADIZ off the seaboard? Looks like it varies but on average like 200 - 300 nm?

These were the two Mass Air Guard F-16 that were scrambled, correct? I remember an interview with one of the pilots who said they scrambled so fast they went up unarmed. While in the air they came up with the plan to kamikaze it, one plane on the starboard nose, the other on the port tail, and bring it down that way.

Odds are very slim that scrambled military interceptors could reach a unidentified jet coming into the U.S> in time to take it out. We were unprepared for that type of attack on 9/11, and things have not improved much since then.

"Lee's point proved prophetic when a decades-long decline in air defenses left New York and Washington vulnerable Sept. 11, 2001.

On that day, the two East Coast air sovereignty alert sites - among just seven in the continental United States - were spread too thin for fighter planes to intercept the hijacked airliners when commanders determined the flights were part of a terrorist plan.

Since then, a buildup of alert sites to fill gaps between bases where fighter jets stand by to intercept intruders was reduced during the Bush administration from 26 to 18, including sites in Alaska and Hawaii.

That leaves Tampa, Orlando, Dallas and Atlanta among cities at the fringes or beyond the 20-minute interceptor response time the Defense Department established for "areas of interest" after the 2001 terrorist attacks, nonclassified military documents in the public domain show.

Fake...Looks like either a small plane or some giant trees.

Doesn't matter, even if real, if it was MH370 there would be damaged plane and trees. Otherwise just a flying plane.

Dude...the plane in that jungle picture is flying low over the jungle. It isn't in the trees. That blotchy spot toward its tail is a cloud.

That one is extremely old and not a 777. The pic got found on the net on a reverse lookup after the person posted it.
