The last ping data does not necessarily eliminate the Maldives. Experts have said the plane could have been on the ground for some of those pings. It does not have to be in the air for a satellite to pick up a ping.

That doesn't mean shite. I used to land at random places all the time on FSX.

Well if the plane was on the ground then it definitely rules the Maldives out . If the data is reliable.

Idk, but I'm not sold completely on this arc info. Seemed sketchy from the time it was released imo.
Yeh I'm not really sold on anything that is released by Malaysia

Didn't a report come out today (this morning) that a red and white Jet was seen flying low over the Maldives the morning the plane went missing?

Why would he have this in his simulator?
Maybe as a back up if he didn't make the Maldives?
He may just have wanted some new routes to fly on his sim.

Yes. It's on the previous page if you want to check it out.

I wish we had a log of all the places these pilots had previously flown. Pakistan has to be in play. Also, notice we haven't heard much from India?

this

residents described a white aircraft with red markings similar to the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 passing overhead about 6.15am on March 8.
The claims, which have not been confirmed, follow reports of radar and satellite signals indicating the missing airliner could have followed a track in that general direction.
The holiday islands are about halfway between Malaysia and the east coast of Africa.
It’s about 3200 kilometres from Malaysia — placing it at the extreme edge of how far flight MH370 could travel.

That's the word which if true had the plane headed SW away from Sri Lanka.

Here's CNBC's story concerning the autopilot:
However the article says this could have been innocuous as pilots tend to program alternate flight routes into their computer in case of emergency.

The missing Malaysia Airlines jet's abrupt U-turn was programmed into the on-board computer well before the co-pilot calmly signed off with air traffic controllers, sources tell NBC News.
The change in direction was made at least 12 minutes before co-pilot Fariq Abdul Hamid said "All right, good night," to controllers on the ground, the sources said.
The revelation further indicates that the aircraft's mysterious turnaround was planned and executed in the cockpit before controllers lost contact with Flight 370.

If you choose to believe the arc data based on the last known satellite ping Pakistan would be in play but the Maldives wouldn't.

You can pretty much just go after the co pilot if you want to go this route. He was the one that said goodnight and would clearly know the route had been changed.

I really can't figure out if it is or not now. I have seen comments by the leader being for sodomy and being ok with Israel, then others where he goes off on nasty jews.
I am still not sure if that group would get along with the hardliners in the middle east though.

The opposition leader (pilots guy) was jailed for sodomy...but they claim it was a set up by the ruling party.

If he can even utter the word sodomy without foaming at the mouth he's not a fire breathing fundamentalist Muslim.
