I say the Hanso Foundation is behind all of this.

I truly think that either the U.S. or China knows where this plane is at. I just think that there are satellite limitations that everyone is supposed to go by. No one wants to rat themselves out and say "we know where that plane is at" .

Agreed. We don't need to accidentally tell everyone that we did go through with Star Wars.

How's he freaky looking? Look like an old guy.

I freaking love this show. The drama he puts into it is amazing.

I just don't believe this plane took the southern route and instead believe it went into central Asia. The southern route is nothing but ocean and small islands. Why take the time and skill to avoid detection by navigating around military radar, only to do a belly flop into the ocean 7 hours later? Why not just take a nose dive right then and there if you are trying to commit suicide?

I agree. If the plane had crashed due to hijackers, I believe someone would have taken credit by now. Why change course if you just want to wreck? Seems like someone wanted the whole plane and then after they do whatever they want to do with it, then they will take credit.

because much like school shooters, if you want your name to live in infamy, you do something like this. If he had buried it in the ocean 20 miles off Malaysia it would already be out of the news rotation. If he flew it in one of the deepest oceans in the world never to be found, people will be talking about this for a very long time. If this plane is never found the tin foil hatters will have a field day with it.

They might want someone else to get credit.

Yea, but terrorist like to make a statement and take credit for devastation. It doesn't matter what ocean it goes down in, if that's what they want. If they just want to crash it into the ocean, then why does it matter which one they fly in to? I think someone wanted this plane and they found a pilot that they could convince.

Why go the northern route? The only reason he would do that is if he was trying to help terrorists right? Maybe he wasn't and was doing this all on his own. If he was committing suicide why does he have to do it right away? He knew he was dead anyway.

As we discussed way back in this thread, it's a misconception that terrorists always take credit. Sometimes it's an anonymous act.

or maybe terrorism had nothing to do with it and it was just a disturbed pilot

You're right, all groups don't take credit. Most are some kind of a political statement though. I just don't believe that this plane is crashed in the ocean.

I read that the pilot was a political fanatic. I'm not sure if that means he would just crash the plane or fly around and then crash it. I believe that China is going to have a damn fit once they find out for sure what happened.

People are having a real hard time accepting this as a possibility.

Pilots are probably highly scrutinized by intelligence agencies. If he had terrorists ties I would think it would have come out.

I truly believe that it was the pilot. I just don't know if he flipped out due to his political believes or he was contacted by terrorist. I guess that it will all depend on where they find the plane.

Whoever allegedly (if this is the case) has this plane are the disturbed ones. I guess we'll find out sooner or later whether it crashed. But the fact that it's presently unknown whether it crashed isn't comforting to know.

Reading on another forum that the Australian air defense radar is rumored to see the entire southern Indian Ocean. If so, They may know what happened and be unwilling to publicize their capability.

ETA: Another rumor from this forum
quote:

Sorry if it's already been mentioned in this thread but I was talking to a crew member paxing on the flt deck today who was told by some contractors associated with the Malaysian loaders that a very large quantity (10 tonnes) of gold was loaded on MH370. Could be an incentive to 'take' the aircraft? Wonder if this was a fuel tankering sector which could open up the range? This could be a modern day great train (plane) robbery.

Here's the link to the professional pilot's forum where I found this LINK Admins, if it's not kosher to link other forums, please whack this post.
