TL:DR..?

Asmawati Ahmad, spokeswoman for the Malaysian assistant police commissioner, told Agence France-Presse that the issue occurred when someone photocopied the images. She said it “was not done with malice or to mislead” and said this was explained when the images were handed out to members of the media.

They can't find a 777..You think they know how to use a copy machine...

It's sitting at the bottom of the ocean fully intact.
Not within their 36,000 square mile search area. Would've been found by now.

Is it just me or do the Vietnamese now appear to be a vastly superior ethic group / nationality to the Malaysians? It's like they're the adults over there. We should have stayed out of that war; they're apparently pretty smart.

Could the lower halves provide more info which will eventually lead to finding out the identity?

The picture doesn't look photoshopped, it looks like someone did a really shitty job photocopying it. and had the larger pic sitting behind the smaller one. They just got really lucky and it appears he actually does have a lower half in it.

AND HERE WE GO!

This was talked about yesterday. Basically looks like a mistake by whomever held the pictures up (for the picture taken that is shown in the article). Clearly the bottom halves are both the of the same person. It's just a mistake.

Not that it was ever that high but Malaysia is dropping way down on the list of places to travel in my lifetime. Lost a plane. Don't know how to use a copy machine. Surprised they can wipe their own asses. Wait, do they even do that? Probably not.

They're largely Muslim, so don't shake their left hands.

Has anyone checked old encyclopedias or history books? This thing time traveled back in time and popped in somewhere. It will definitely now have an entry in the old records.

That or this 777 is related to Optimus Prime and transformed before flying ...wait for it........into space.

These should be added to list of possibilities.

That's way south of the last now disputed sighting. Anyone know how the ocean currents run in that straight, i.e., would they push debris south?
