I have friends in their 40's down there drinking right now. One of them has his 60 year old mom with him.
It's one of the best drinking events of the year in the quarter because you aren't around trash.

Not judging. I just have a different idea of fun now than I did then. Now fun is sitting out at the lake camp with a cooler full of beer and a fishing pole.
It's funny, when you're a kid you swear you'll never get tired of amusement parks. When you're a college kid you swear you'll never get tired of massive drunken gatherings featuring thousands of men in drag...then one day you wake up and you're bored with it to the point it isn't worth the trouble.

Agreed, but pretty soon you won't have any interest in sitting at the camp either. You've still got some growing up to do but eventually you'll realize that fun (and happiness in general) just isn't really worth it.
