It's too late. I just looked outside and there is an empty solo cup on the ground.

I just did't have enough warning.

I'm sure you felt clever posting this, but some of us in this thread are going to be impacted by this storm, possibly catastrophically. Keep this shite out of here.

Been there done that. I definitely didn't lose my sense of humor through the whole thing.
That would be the real catastrophe.

The heavy rain signal is off the charts in the CAMS...

Latest HRRR shows 12-20" across Houston metro overnight and the latest 3K NAM shows 30-60" over the next 3 days.

Yikes. It looks like Austin and San Antonio are going to be hit hard also.

Harris County Sherrif Office reporting tornadoes at 290/Fry and 290/West. The West one went back up.

Getting sporty in Cypress.

Individual runs can be wildly inaccurate. What we look for is agreement across several different models over time when the atmosphere looks primed for storms or heavy rain. This is a strong signal right now although location probably won't match up and the distribution won't be as smooth.

It looks like the worst is yet to come for Houston List. Hang in there.

Houston has fared well so far, other than a few short lived tornadoes. The heavy rain bands keep missing the metro area.

The models coming out today don't look good for them. The latest Euro could mean trouble for the next week, and these rain totals look really bad for the next 24-72 hours.

No I got the same phone call. Butts are puckering. It's time for a cold one and a quick cleaning of the downstairs closet
