72 hour rainfall totals in Victoria are insane, and they're just going to get more.

Wasn't 16.43 of that only in the last 24 hours?

Business has really picked up here in Houston.

Getting heavy rain and wind right now. Power has cut out twice but then cut right back on.

That is one of the scariest river water level projections I have seen --ten feet over the record.

Victoria showing 24.57 in the past 24 hours now.

I'd post the map screenshot but it's broken the scale and showing 0.00

as far as I can find... the US record for rainfall in a 12 hour period is 34.3 inches. Victoria is on pace to challenge that with about 19 in the past 7 hours

The San bernard is a small river. Wait til the Guadelupe, Colorado, and Brazos get some real time data instead of rainfall projections.

North of Austin and rain came in an hour earlier than expected so I had a group run cancelled. Looks like it's getting heavier.

Man, the models are still all over place for this thing. Looks like SWLA is pretty clear now though.

Wind damage in SWLA should be effectively nil. Rain/flood damage is still a crapshoot.

What if I told you that the rain this far has practically been non existent and the sun is shining this morning?

84 hour run on NAM - this is going to be devastating for south-central TX, particularly the Victoria area.

Rainfall totals.

Remember these are just 84 hour totals...

I could believe it.

The part that makes it a crapshoot is the near guarantee that a tropical system will be between Corpus to Houston over the next 5 days. Moisture will continue to flow out of the south, so the rain could be a major problem in SWLA as well.
