that's good your neighborhood/house is holding steady.

Rockport and Port Lavaca....they are going to get crushed.

You ended up on the "right" side of this one.

BIL lives in Rockport. He evacuated with his animals but doesn't expect much left when he returns. We moved to Seattle about two years ago, I sure don't miss having to worry about hurricanes...just earthquakes.

Hope you have plenty of food, water and fuel.
After Katrina, I couldn't find anything, and that was just outside of Mobile. Damn it was hot too. It was several miserable days.

This link, they go to different storm chasing feeds

Structures where they are in Rockport are all going down, not much to protect them now. Jeff's feed ended, hopefully he is ok

Behind the Snowball stand, car wash.

My wife has family on Padre Island in Corpus Christi... Any chance their house doesn't flood?

I used to stay at the Lighthouse Inn whenever I was down that way and always thought that building had a target painted on it if a hurricane was heading anywhere near there. Hope it survives.

Glad your house is holding strong and you're ok.

is the wind still pretty strong with gust? it looks like you're just outside of the main core action.

Some of my neighbors went down by the bay before dark. They never experienced this before...kinda scary from the videos i saw. They were near Jim C.
