Nope.
StG is 66.666%. 3 total shootings, 2 deaths
BTR is 46.75%. 77 total shootings, 36 deaths
StG residents go to Precision for practice.

The most recent shooting where the victim was found at LCI occurred in the LCI parking lot, therefore within the St. G city limits. I have updated the count.

Br residents going to the line to commit crime in stg

Using a shotgun bc they figured out their kill ratio with handguns being held sideways wasn’t good.

Any of you know what was going down on Perkins this morning? I was headed east near Kenilworth and 4 BR city cops were blazing in other lane by me...all 4 came at separate durations. I would think at that speed and that large a presence, something had to have gone down such as a shooting or robbery.

When BR finalizes all of it's annexing and SG is "official," you should revisit this list and change any shootings as needed to the proper column.

That area wouldn’t be part of the city had they not annexed it to spite St. G. But now it counts against BR.

The grove apartments right by the new Ochsner.

They’re not even that old. Has it gone downhill already?

When you are relaxed on enforcing laws the thugs take over.
Thugs own BR and eventually will take over all of EBRP.
We need to clean house with the judges, DA been in there way too long which means way too comfortable in his job, clean house at BRPD at the top, and maybe it is time for our sheriff to also retire.
It does all start with finding a mayor that will not pander your the thugs and a council that backs a tough on crime mayor.
We need to bring in skilled officers at the top from departments that are proactive on fighting crime.
Little things such it enforcing over the weight limit trucks going through residential areas such as Sherwood Forest. Blvd a good start. That is BRPD traffic division’s responsibility as it is a city ordinance. I would have them start Monday working roads like this after peak traffic times to raise some mandatory contributions to the city’s budget.
Going into high crime areas and stopping people for minor traffic infractions.
Having high visibility in high crime areas.
Requiring apartments to pay for 24 hour security where the person has to be a law enforcement officer to cut down on drug deals in apartment complexes.
When someone is on probation require and have probation officers check in on then anytime they want 24/7.
Just starting with little things can push the thugs to parishes and cities that are more relaxed on crime.

They seem nice to me. I'm in that area fairly often.
Probably some hood rat beef that spilled over from the mall or the movie theater. It seems like that area would have a lot of people around at 7pm on a Saturday.
Looks like young Gyron was a Broadmoor athlete too like the kid that was murdered off of Millerville on Christmas.

Neither. It's part of unincorporated EBR so it doesn't fall to the glorious city of St George or the murderous Baton Rouge

Yep. The Grove apartments are not involved in this. This all occurred by Dick's/Area 51. I guarantee you nobody involved lives nearby.

Correct. A man was also killed on Bayou Fountain last night, which also lies outside of the city limits of both BR and St. G.
Neither city wanted to claim Gardere.

Shot at 8am?
Late Sunday night action or did they just wake up early for work?

My guess is that the shooter was trying to get to the office early so that he could leave early and take the wife and kids to a dinner at a Beausolei or a Nino's. The victim sounds like she was running behind which aggravated the former. I've seen a lot worse happen for less.
