I think I saw the crosswalk full of nuns and orphans. Good thing they were all saved.

For all we know that gun was confiscated in the earlier infraction. It's a leap to say it was in the car.

Sounds very made up and based on nothing factual, but hopes and wishes.

Why was he running?

Frankly, I'd be more concerned about the dumb broad backing me up shooting me than the perp.

This is what you said. I called BS on that and asked for numbers showing why you would feel this way. You haven’t given them.

The fact that the other cop was in the field of fire even further illustrates just how big a screw up the actions of this cop were and further cements she thought she had a taser. She needs to face the consequences of this screw up.

But still answer me, why would you fear more from a bystander or another cop than a suspect fighting, resisting, what ever you want to call it?

One person willingly acted here, and it wasnt the cop.

Why are you ignoring the crime he was actively committing?

if he had took off and ran over someone you would be the first one throwing the cops under the bus because they didnt shoot him.

I thought it was obvious that I was putting myself into the position of the cops in this situation by stating I'd be more concerned about the broad shooting me.

If it isn't obvious to you that is what I was doing....

And no, I'm not bothering to take the time to look up numbers to answer your question which is far beyond what I stated.

Of course you aren't, because it would make your take hilariously bad. But you already knew that, which is why you just hoped you could deflect and no one would call you out.

Maybe it should be the second question after the obvious, “how the frick does one kill a man with a gun and say ‘oopsie poopsie, thought it was the taser!’?”
quote:

so what's your thesis here then. the woman cop was a mixed-racist and did this on purpose?

i would LOOOOVE your hot take on what you think went down.

ETA CHALLENGE: NO WHITE MALE COPS AT THE SCENE. GO

Coward. Ran away from this thread like a scalded cat after doing a little race-baiting. You got NOTHING do you?

This is where is think you are confused...

Her facing consequences vs what’s about to happen to her, Minneapolis, and police in general are too very different things.

I’m not defending her. I’m simply saying this culture of cops having to be perfect in the face of criminals who’s violent actions are defended is wrong and will lead to more pain and suffering.

She exclaims "Taser, taser, Taser" in the video before shooting him. The video is F'd up to watch...

I imagine a redesign of tasers will be forthcoming. I'm sure there is a different look/feel to each device but we've gotta be able to help a cop avoid this mistake next time. Perhaps something as simple as placing a taser in a different location than hip holster

you know damn well i’m not ignoring that as i’ve already stated clearly that he should not have been resisting and attempting to flee. you’re still trying to justify his death, why?

These are similar situations except Ashli was shot willingly.

Glad you admit Ashli was willfully murdered.

No I wouldn't because I understand probabilities.

Those that do not use all kinds of wild hypotheticals to justify the killing of a perp wanted on a misdemeanor gun charge.
