Do you understand percentages?
Bill Orielly will explain it to you.

Now if we want to talk about over crowding our prisons with just users that aren't violent criminals. Then yes, that is a huge problem and why the war on drugs has actually been a failure. These people aren't being rehabilitated in prison.
I agree the push for privatized prison is a loop hole to legalized slavery. Some sells drugs and is locked up for 25 years to become property of the state is wrong. Not that I am advocating the selling of drugs however the punishment doesnt fit the crime.

That's where I agree. And imo you are hurting communities more by locking men up for something as harmless as having some pot on you. When you do that you are taking fathers out of the homes. You shove them in these private jails like they are cattle and don't do anything to help teach them any type of skill they can use when they get out.

With great power comes great responsibility. You have to be held to a higher standard as a police officer. If you can't exercise good judgement and restraint, then you aren't fit to serve.

How come almost every news reports says their was a chase? Just bad journalism? And why didn't more cops go to jail? In the video their were 4 squad cars at the time of the shooting. Were they all in on it?
Posted on 4/14/17 at 7:42 am to Nado Jenkins83
Because nobody in the other squad car fired shots.......
The reason the father "ran" was because he knew he was about to be murdered

Nado, you seem to be a person that always has to have a qualifier when talking about a cop crime
"Sure the cops were wrong, BUT the victim could have done so and so"
No, not always. Cops can be straight up evil people who murder just like any other profession

Well thanks for educating me on it. I didn't follow the story as I was overseas at the time. This all leads to my first comment on page 1 which there isn't anything wrong with it

This is true, but the numbers don't show that the average American is just going to get murdered anytime a cop is around.
There is a disconnect at times. Cops are humans too. So in the BR instance, I can see where one might be on edge when the week before a cop was murdered doing a routine call.
It could be a cycle that just won't be broken. Criminals rather take their chances killing an officer rather than going back to jail. Officers don't want to take the chance on getting killed and become trigger happy.

No fricks given...
I'll tell you like I used to tell BIGSCRUBTX...
"Put down our XBOX controller and go out and do something about it in the community. Quit bitching like a girl on a message board to people that don't give 2-fricks about your issues. Go out and make a difference."

Well I'm sorry you feel that way as it's not my intention. Decisions lead up to these events on both sides is my point

Change your title and educate yourself on what a "curb stomp" is. He'd likely be dead if that happened.

Then pay them as such. Quit paying them like they flip burgers.

So which one is it?
He ran BTW... no doubt about it.

Few also insisted that he had never tried to escape, but only sped off from the cops to get his son to a girlfriend's house in the event that he would be arrested.
"The whole reason there was even a chase was for his well-being," he said.
Some of you guys are so fricking stupid.

He was running from a murderer while breaking zero laws
The murderer happened to be a cop
It is bullshite to say it was a "police chase."

Put your frickin' mouth on the curb! PUT IT ON THE CURB! Now say goodnight...
Posted on 4/14/17 at 8:24 am to lsupride87
Obviously... that's why he stated that he felt that he might be arrested. Can you read?
Posted on 4/14/17 at 8:26 am to LSUTANGERINE
You act like defenders only defend cops and don't look at the case by case basis. Some cops are good, some are bad. Like any profession. Some posters are good, some are bad. Then there's you.

1. I don't play video games
2. I work with at risk-kids every day. This is not the first time I have said this on this board. I can guarantee you I do more than 99% of this board.
3. You may remove your foot from your mouth.

Amazing how no one ever captures any footage of what led up to the incident
It does t matter what lead up to the incident. All that matters is this suspect was under control, restrained, and posing zero threat to anyone. Our police are suppose to be professionals. And what that cop did was anything but professional.
This is the type of shite you'd see in the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany. We should expect better from our police than what we just saw in that video.
Either we are a nation of laws or we're not. And if we are a nation of laws then everyone should equally be held accountable under those laws, be they some gang-banger shooting up a house, or a police officer arresting him.
