I guess we'll agree to disagree here, but here's my take- the DA and a jury of his peers just put one of the marshals away for 40 years because they thought the marshals were at fault. The marshals didn't even file a police report to try and justify what happened after the shooting. Though to the media they first claimed there was a chase, which was corroborated by no one... Then they claimed Few had a warrant, which there was none, and lastly they claimed he tried to pull a gun (none found). Then the video came out and showed it was all BS, and showed the hands in the air.
I just can't bring myself to blame the dad here. It's his fault for pissing off the wrong people I guess.

They shouldn't. As an attorney, I know that prosecutors rarely charge cops, as they feel doing so would alienate those who investigate their cases. Grand juries rarely indict cops because the public has been conditioned to hero worship police. And state and federal courts have made it hard to successfully prosecute Tort Claims Act cases or 42 U.S.C. 1983 claims by expanding qualified immunity exceptions.
