I'm not trying to argue with you. I don't know everything about it. But I don't see myself getting into a situation like that.

I find it hard to believe they just pulled him over and lit up the car. I can see one cop firing a round and it cause the other to fire as well. We can just agree that it's terrible that little boy got killed and it wasn't his fault

Well obviously I can't speak for all of them as I haven't sat down with each one to discuss it.

How about this. I have never met a LEO that said they weren't concerned about something going wrong and ending up in a lawsuit or under the microscope

Does not matter. Once he is cuffed and no longer resisting, it's a no no to curb stomp

I agree. That being said, you have an obvious agenda and probably got excited when you saw this video. Black on Black crime, Black on White crime, Black cops assaulting black & White people don't support your cause, but it happens every day. It's obviously racism when it's White on Black, in your eyes.

They can end up in a lawsuit for sure, but the likelihood of dismissal before trial (especially in federal court) is much higher than your average defendant.

I could see that. I was halfway kidding when I posted that. I wasn't suggesting otherwise.

The cop or the thug? Hopefully neither do honestly.

Qualified immunity. It protects government employees from civil liability for damages where their actions, even if later found to be unlawful, at the time of the incident did not "clearly violate established law."

Can it be asked, " What led to this arrest?"

Doesn't matter. Completely irrelevant

If this guy had just killed innocent kids, you might think different. I don't disagree with you, but I don't know the circumstances here.

I am just as hard on cops here who violate the rights of white people. I loathes cops like the one on video here.

Cops take their frustration out on bad guys every single day whether it's on the street or in the jail cell. It's no secret. They deal with the same BS everyday so occasionally somebody is going to get a little extra treatment. Is this lawful? No. But posting a clip without providing all details leading up to the event only helps divide people.
The real crime here is Tangerine primarily selects videos that show white cops "abusing" black "victims". Had the guy on the ground been white Tangerine would have bypassed the video and kept looking for other videos. Yes Tangerine white guys get so called "stomped in the head" by cops too.
