Offered a promotion today at my company’s North Shore office

I always hear people complain about traffic there. I currently live in Zachary and work in BR. Certainly North Shore traffic can’t be as atrocious as BR? Any other cons about the area?

We went to Mandeville/Covington a few weeks back for kids gym meet. Spent the day. Seemed like a really nice place. Didn’t have any issues driving around. Would rather move there than current situation where I’m having to deal with Baton Rouge traffic

People on the Northshore bitch about traffic because they haven’t lived in BR. I have and can tell you there is no comparison. Northshore is awesome.

Office is in Covington. I’d be moving, frick that commute. Schedule is 7-5ish.

Oh. Well if it’s Mandeville/Covington then you’ll probably love it if you have a family. Yeah it’s suburban and traffic can get bad at times but it’s safe, has great schools and is clean.

North of I-12, closer to 190. Looked at some houses online and the wife likes several she saw in Madisonville. Are there any parades out that way tomorrow? Might take a ride and scope it out since we’re off.
