Of course there's the obligatory hands-on-hips, knee-bent pose. But when and why did the hand-on-chest post become so popular with women?



A Daily Mail article suggests that its body language signifying "hands off" to other women.

However, I've seen women even pulling this with family members such as grandfathers.
