The man has given the road map to forgiveness. When you say something offensive, your only response needs to be that the people reading "took it the wrong way."
For reference, he posted some pretty bad things about Jews on his social media this weekend.
All is fixed. Praise be. We good now?

Are apologies an acceptable form of retribution now? Because others have been cancelled, fired, denied entrance to college, threatened, and everything else under the sun.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson said he has no hatred toward the Jewish community after posting anti-Semitic messages on social media Monday that he attributed to Adolf Hitler and Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.

Depends on skin color of the parties involved

As long as he isn't white, we got a non-story here. He apologized, let's move on.

We really need to start recognizing black privilege in America. Being able to say whatever you want without retribution

To be fair, DJ isn't smart enough to realize what he did

The double standard in the NFL and media in general is stupefying.
The usual SJW suspects who jump on Twitter for every perceived microaggression (Peter King, Karen Rovell, Florio) are all silent as church mouses.

When Jemelle Hill got called out for making fun of transgender people, her response was “she evolved”.
When Talcum X got caught plagiarizing his response was to blame it on a junior staffer.
Is it me or are there two sets of rules these days?

classic case of stupid person reading a book (more likely article), misinterpreting what they read because they are stupid, and then trying to sound smart
