Odd Hobbies?

Anyone have any odd hobbies or obsessions? I guess mine would be I'm super fascinated by weather disasters. I rode out Katrina as a kid in Gulfport, MS and ever since I watch any weather documentary and own multiples books about storms. I've followed the paths of the Tuscaloosa and Joplin, MO tornadoes as well as one in Hattiesburg just checking out how the entire area was affected. Rode thru neighborhoods after the Baton Rouge floods as well as tons of places affected by Katrina like most of the Mississippi coast and Plaquemines Parish and the Lower 9th. Same with some areas in Florida after Ivan, etc. I was in most of these areas for work anyway so it isnt like I made trips just to do it but it still seems a little odd to me. I've even considered getting a job that would allow me to travel to disaster zones such as an insurance adjuster or something.

I have a special pair of tongs I keep hidden so that, when I'm home alone, I can pick up pieces of my shite out of the potty and put them in a ziploc bag and inspect them.

There are actually some pretty decent jobs available if you don't mind living under adverse conditions in these areas....Most of the states have an emergency management agency that does this very thing. If you can't do it full-time, you can join the reserves of the agency.
ETA: my job frequently brings me to these areas as well...

Why would you need to be home alone? Do you shite with the door open? Either way, if you keep the door closed, you can inspect like everyone else.

I used to collect business cards. (Have over 3,000)
I collect odd bottle caps (have around 1000 different types).
I consider myself a reader, have a small library of under 1000 books.

I extensively research pretty much every medical condition imaginable.

I feel like that’s more of an interest than a hobby.

Any recommendations on different career paths? I'm bored to death at my current job. I dont have college but young enough and financially in a place where I could if I needed to. Clean background and a Class A CDL and supervisory experience. Ive thought about insurance adjuster but it seems pretty hard to break into.
