The health department in Shelby County said 700 drug overdoses and 102 deaths have been reported since March 15, when the county began issuing stay-at-home orders related to the virus response.

As of Tuesday, 88 people had died from the virus in the county, which includes the city of Memphis.

Couldn't find actual average of normal ODs but looks like between 25-35 per month is normal

Way to make Memphis even more depressing than it already is.

Do they have human interest stories about Lawler picking his girlfriend up from the playground?

The city didn't report these 102 deaths as Covid19 related?
Rookie mistake

Not doubting you, but 102 OD deaths sounds like a lot for two months. Is this on the Health Department's website?

Area is not really a shite hole compared to redneck AL or hood anywhere in the south...

The ODs are middle aged white folks in majority

TN and Shelby county have done more Covid test than any SEC state except GA... Memphis probably processes your states tests with 3 giant labs here

That’s great. Memphis is still a shithole.
