O-T’s Great Mystery Game

Welcome to the first ever (and maybe last) O-T’s GREAT MYSTERY GAME.
The first person to submit a post in this thread proving they solved the mystery will win an upvote from me, a place in Tigerdroppings history, and if they want to give me an address, a fresh set of truck nuts.
The Mystery:
In the Power Rangers TV series, every episode was pretty much the same, except just about every episode there was a new monster villain for the Rangers to battle.
My kid is now into the show, and it got me wondering how sorta unique it was that they had a new, pretty elaborate monster costume built for each episode. This was real stuff, not CGI. I wondered where these hundreds of one-off costumes went.
Apparently, they were stored in a warehouse in Los Angeles for a while. Here is a photo from inside the warehouse.

The one that was never auctioned and whose location is currently unknown:
Sinister Simian
Can you find what happened to Sinister Simian?

Back in early 2003, shortly after the series changed hands from Saban Entertainment to Disney and before the production relocated to New Zealand, some of the monster costumes that survived the fabled woodchipper were auctioned off on eBay by ABC Auctions.
“Produced in Japan at a cost of roughly $20,000 U.S., these monsters were of a collection of rare screen costumes never before offered to the public. Presented with a wooden stand for display purposes, the costumes were also accompanied by a VHS tape of the episode in which they were featured.” [looks like most sold between $100 and $500]
Over the course of five weeks, a total of 58 monster costumes were auctioned. Photos of 59 costumes were uploaded for auction purposes, leaving one that never reached the auction block. Its fate is unknown.

My kid is now into the show,
I’m so thankful my son’s Power Ranger phase lasted only a very short time before he realized Star Wars was where it’s at.

Sinister Simian later formed Funkadelic under his real name, George Clinton

The most interesting thing about Power Rangers is that most episodes were filmed in office buildings and parking lots.
