The problem here is that the uvalde pd had to actually do something that wasn’t a traffic stop and they didn’t know how to do their job at that point

Honestly. I am very very far from the conspiracy type. But the details of this whole thing are so fricking weird. I don't want to think it, but it's almost as if the police wanted/very indifferent to the children dying.
At this point, all bets are off. Idk what to think anymore. Qanon, do your work. Is the police chief connected to some bigname Dem politician in anyway?

I just have the tune of the Rains of Castamere stuck in my head the past day and can’t get it out. I think it’s appropriate to use it on them, but it might start a mutually assured destruction despite both sides writ large want these cops to pay to the most dear degree. Even Brian Stelter and Oliver Darcy are calling for this police department’s head, so we’re through the looking glass here.

Basic small unit maneuvering against a lone outnumbered perpetrator. It’s hard not to get angry.
I’ve got grandchildren in school. I worry about them. Unless Uvalde is an odd outlier, with some yet undisclosed pertinent factors, I can’t take any real comfort after reading these stories and looking at the timeline that LEOs will act quickly and decisively to put an active shooter down.
