I'm living in the Twilight Zone. George Zimmerman was a big story in the media. Killer operated a site that denounced and threatened Zimmerman. Therefore the media is to blame for today's killings.

Media shows one side of zimmerman story...anger comes when what tv says happen doesnt result in guilty verdict. He threatens people on fb who.disagreed with him on zimmerman.
2 new media driven stories...se thing..media reports one side of story...when in his eyes obviois guilt isnt punished. ..more anger forms.
If you are going to act like media has 0 influence. ..the only reason the stories are big is because media is driving them and painting certain angles that arent true.
But people are nationally protesting the 2 bjggest media cases by coincidence. All the murders in america and those 2 are the ones that people are angry about.

I would never argue that media outlets don't trend to certain viewpoints (on either side of the aisle). I wouldn't even argue that things seen/read in print or on-screen don't tug at the emotions of viewers/listeners. What I won't do is blame "the media" when 1 of 320,000,000 citizens commits a crime.
