There is no state in the nation that is better prepared or better mobilized to combat this virus than New York

And there's a reason all the bridges get blown up, so they don't scatter exactly like they just did.

Realistically, there are threats, that will probably occur to them in our lifetime, that are far worse than a pandemic.

But yet he whines and bitches like a school girl on the playground getting bullied each and everyday.

There's a different between inherent and residual risk. NY can be both the most prepared and the most affected by the virus due to the significant inherent risk of infection the city has.

It’s actually pretty shocking how prepared my office/industry was for this.
I guess 9/11 and Sandy (which i wasn’t old enough to be in or experience) helped because we are running with no hiccups

strange, i figured the "best prepared state in the nation" would've shut down there mass public transportation to prevent the rapid spread of a pandemic pretty early on.

Agreed, but wouldn’t that be an issue for health workers trying to get to and from Work?

Correct. It’s the most densely populated portion of the country. I would reasonably expect it to be both the most affected and most prepared.

You have no idea.
They also came and hooked me up with the WFH “Rona rig”
Although today I’m back in the office. Last week was different

yeah, i dunno. Cuomo himself said early on it's a guessing game and they wouldn't know until it was all over with if they acted correctly and timely enough.

It’s tough just because a lot of nurses don’t live near those hospitals.
So tougher to get to them without public transportation
Although they are operating on weekend schedules, if that works. Idk I’ve just been walking from Tribeca to midtown.
Yea it’s long but whatever

They said that trump banning travel from China was racist.
So they are foolish. A poor decision up front can ruin a best performed planned later because you already did yourself a hole you can dig out of.
Trump saved them.
