That's as far as I could get in her parents interview.
I told mr bb last night it looks like it's some sort of hoax and he hasn't heard of it. Dude, we live in AL. How has he missed this? I mean yea, we ain't close to Hoover but it's been all over my FB.

Understand what Hoover is. It is an economic power of suburban Jefferson county. The residents are typically upper middle class. An abduction real or fake is taken very seriously by city officials and law enforcement because they don’t want criminal bullshite keeping people from shopping, investing and residing in Hoover. At the end of the day, if they have the goods to say this entire thing was bullshite, they are going to say that in the strongest terms possible.

I joined around the time Jussie Smollet hoax and when the guy said his most embarrassing moment was when he spontaneously cried at a conference. Been hooked ever since.
I lurked for years before that.
The greatest case I have ever seen solved on TD was in 2012.
Mickey Shunick from Lafayette, Louisiana. Heartbreaking story.

Lets hope they still have same willpower to break this wide open today.
Another point is if she was in a big rig riding around the metro for 2 days - those are easy to spot on cams. I would love to hear her version like did they stop where her car was or did they use a car to transport her to a big rig. Anything she says can be verified. I hope they announce thos was a big lie and charges are pending

I don’t remember this. What’s the gist on how the OT solved it?

That was unbelievable and, yes, it was so sad.

However, if I were her parents right now, I'd be telling her she needs to speak to the police. If you're her parents and you believe her story of a kidnapping, wouldn't you want her telling the police her story so they can find these alleged kidnappers?
kind of like OJ searching for the real killers on the golf course

A poster had personal knowledge of person who should be suspect, reported him and he was arrested. Guy wasn’t on police radar before.

Says the DOT, who likely caused the problem in the first place.
But people that aren’t assholes say differently. Even if what they say is true, I will gladly sit in gridlock a few extra minutes so some a-hole can’t cut in line.

Pretty amazing how much insight one can get here. Its like a massive detective agency where no one gets paid. I love a good mystery and this case has been awesome.

Oh wow. Was that the person who killed her?
Posted on 7/19/23 at 1:49 pm to OU Guy
Here's my biggest quesiton.
They pinged the borhters' gf's cell phone (that's the one she was on the phone wtih Friday night that corroborated the screaming, rihgt?) at the culdesac just past the tree line right? Some fo the details I dont' remeber. I thought I read that that was the case though. So if we are to belive that she set up this hoax, walked through the woods to that neighborhood culdesac on Atkins Trimm lane and was then picked up, I want to know the movements of that vehicle. Surely they have doorbell footage of that culdesac and can see the vehicle that picked her up so I iamgine they should know exactly where seh went immediately following the phone call and "adbuction".
Like we all know her story is fake, but I am curious what exactly she was doing utnil she showed back up Saturday night.

Yep. I believe the OT had already tracked him to Texas, too.

The perp also appears to be a multiple killer.

Right. Neither Carlee or the parents are cooperating with the police to find these abductors they apparently claim exist. That doesn't make any sense at all IF the story is to be believed. Carlee is not available to the police to help them. This does not support her story, which we are now convinced is completely made up.

He’s pretty oblivious to things.
I’m counting on this thread to keep me up to date on the press conference
