Russell before she was taken to the hospital for evaluation

I'd love to see the looks on the faces of the ER nurses and docs evaluating her and to hear their stories from this

The neighborhood is off exit 10, so it's "close". It's not what you'd call walking distance but it's easily access by car within a few minutes.

So she left work around 820 and then went to the colonnade and target on 280? From the summit to those next 2 locations takes time just because 280 is a bitch and both of those shopping complexes are a pain in the arse. Ain’t not way she did all that plus a loop around 459 in less than an hour.

I hate to give the benefit of the doubt to this idiot girl, but if she worked at the Summit area then she likely knew to go out the back to Blue Lake/Colonnade and take Cahaba River up to Target, all to avoid 280. But still those are slower roads and would still take a good half hour at the least. I've never been in and out of that Taziki's in under 10 minutes, even when ordering ahead.

Opinion is that embezzlement is false but swiping a bunch of cash to pay for this escapade is true.

What is the difference if it's from your employer?

Embezzlement is usually something like using company funds for personal things, trying to hide it, fraudulent activity. Swiping cash is just straight up theft/stealing. At least with embezzlement there is usually an attempt to conceal it.

Embezzlement would using money your employer entrusted to you for a different purpose than intended.

If you're a hospital employee, you look up the patient by their name.

HIPAA violations to that extent are usually termination immediately.

Most EHR systems will only allow access to an individual's record to the providers listed in his/her chart. If someone, even another hospital employee, tried to access the record, the attempt will be immediately logged.
