Her family also specifically asked why an Ashanti Alert wasn't used which was suspicious to me.

Lots of people still thinking she was kidnapped and they let her go.
Hoover PD needs to give people some clarity on this for a number of reasons. “Give the family some space” at this time is a load of BS.

Sure, you’re right in some ways. We’re a bunch of dweebs who are chronically online. I’ll take the criticism.
But information needs to be released ASAP. That’s a huge residential suburban neighborhood right where she was “abducted.” Plenty of people are wondering if there is a danger in their area. They deserve to know if police think this was a kidnapping or not.

The point is that a huge portion of women in Alabama have started to really question their activities due to this. It really scared a lot of people and brought home the fact ‘it could have been me’.
When in reality this was likely a gofundme scam the entire time.

GFY. People in our area need to know if there’s an actual toddler being used to kidnap people.
Clearly this is a hoax….which means public resources were wasted on this.

But again, I'll defer to the Hoover PD on that. I know police don't have the best track record for decision making but I'll just assume due diligence is being done in terms of figuring out what happened, if what she SAYS happened is true, and going from there.
If there was a danger, they would announce it and be taking steps. At least I would hope.

I believe it was her brother who made a video saying the story wasn’t getting enough attention and we all know why. So you can bet that they will play the race card if it is a hoax.
The whole thing smelled at the Ashanti Alert questioning in the very beginning.
