My daughter is about to take the TEAS test tomorrow and i was wondering who has taken this test and what would be a good score. She plans on attending nursing school next fall. Hasn't decided on which one just yet.

It really just depends on the school. Not all schools use the TEAS...there are other exams. The ones that do may or may not actually factor it into the admission process. Either way, it’s just a basic knowledge exam...not hard at all.

Most do use the TEAS or HESI. But you can’t really know if they actually factor the score into admissions and how much it really counts.

I made a 73 overall on my TEAS exam before being accepted into clinicals for nursing school. Each school looks at it in different ways. I'm not sure how much it correlates to success in nursing school because I finished with a much higher GPA than some of the my classmates who had scored higher than me on the TEAS exam.
