My wife is a home health nurse who for the last month and a half has seen 2-3 covid positive patients a day 5 days a week in their homes (you can guess the neighborhoods). She hasn't been in any tik tok videos, hasn't complained once, hasn't shown any concern about the virus, and is about to lose her mind strictly because of the restrictions the government has put on our personal lives. She also hasn't gotten any sort of bonus except a sign in our yard. She probably deserves something in between absolutely nothing and a Purple Heart. Maybe forgive what's left of her nursing school loans since she's been paying them for 9 years and has probably earned having the last $14,000 forgiven.

I know one who just got hospitalized herself after a stint on the front lines.
Call me crazy, but I'd be okay giving her a certificate of merit suitable for framing or a $5 pin to put on her scrubs. I bet her kids would agree.
