Tennesean news story
Dude lived in an apartment near the WaffleHouse and escaped wearing black pants.
Someone grabbed the gun away from him and tossed it behind the counter.
The Perp, er alleged perp, escaped to his car where he put on black pants and headed towards apartment buildings.
Just according to what I read in a not-local report

The best part of America is that people run toward the danger, not away from it. We have lots of differences and rage, but that’s not what defines us. I still remember people scrambling toward the scene at the Boston Marathon, not away from it.

I didnt realize they havent actually caught the guy yet. That is scary and anyone in Nashville has to be on high alert.
The real story is this guy. James Shaw Jr.- True American Hero
He says he doesnt consider himself a hero. He was only trying to save himself. The gunman needed to reload, and so James took those few seconds to rush and disarm him.
