Watching that reminded me of this scene from Role Models:

I am a lioness. A black sheba. I am a lioness, and this is my cub. If you mess with my cub, I will claw your arse up until you shite sideways.

Hadn't seen that before. I like how she starts off that fight tenatively but as her confidence grows she's dancing around like Cassius Clay toward the end.

And I'm surprised no one has posted that entire neighborhood block brawl video yet.

That's using the term woman loosely. She had an arse the size of a nose guard.

He probably still exaggerates it to the max when he tells the story today... tackled Ron Artest to the ground and gave him the ole 1,2. Arsehole thought he could jump in the stands!!

This was in '04? F me! Our country turned to shite rather fast. This was when sports were actually fun to watch.

I'm sure plenty of those fans deserved a beat down but it's still kinda a funny reminder, "hey you're a 6'8" 230 lb professional athlete? That's cool there's 500 of us."

I read that in the locker room after the game that Artest asked Jackson if he thought they were going to get in trouble for this. Jackson said that's when he knew Artest was off mentally.

Back when men were men, sports were sports, and ESPN wasn't the view.

That was 5 minutes more of NBA basketball than I have watched in my life. Pretty much sums up why.

For some reason it got a shitload of media play when he went to the playoffs with the Rockets, and a little when he went to the Lakers. So you were still seeing clips of it and hearing people talk about it like 8 years after it happened.

And, for the record, Artest did nothing wrong. Detroit fans were trash. I mean, those were the fans in the expensive seats, throwing beers and fatboy fake punches.

I want to be mad at Artest and Oneal, but that fan deserved more than what he got.

If someone curses at you and throws a drink on you when you are at work, you aren't fighting?
