When the weather is nice a lot of people in our neighborhood sit outside with an ice chest and lawn chairs. It's usually 70-80 degrees though.

that's the way we did it when I lived in FL, candy for the kids, wine or beer for the parents, pretty sure some of the kids got into the beer as it got later

ETA: for the first few years when the kids were little I built some "haunted houses" for the kids to walk through, it made for sort of a gathering place for other parents, fun times

45, windy and raining here. I'm outside handing out candy because if someone rings my doorbell and makes the dogs freak out and wake up my toddler I'll likely murder them. I'm also in a terrible mood which isn't helping.
