To be fair, lack of editing on a message board post is not indicative of ones's level of grammatical proficiency. It is a larger function of haste and typing issues on a mobile device.

Excluding capitalization, of course.

It's bad form to end a sentence with a preposition.

Just look at message boards from Louisiana - too lazy to start decent threads. They just post a bunch of links.....

Douglas County,Cherry Creek, Arapahoe County and Jefferson County schools used to all be my corporate accounts. I can vouch for this.

In Baton Rouge only the renovated BRMHS and the new Lee stack up as far as being really solid facilities. Maybe Woodlawn ? Not sure of any others on the HS level.

I know it's not completely fair to compare Colorado and Louisiana, but I really feel like a lot of people just have pure apathy towards the Louisiana education system. I think back on my time at Lafayette High and it's amazing to realize how poor the facilities where, especially considering it's often considered the "flagship" school of the state.

By caliber, I mean it is the same top-tier private education of the area. By education, facilities and athletics, it's not even close.

Even the predominately minority East High school in Denver is worlds ahead of Louisiana.

I drove by East High on Saturday and I first thought it was some sort of Government office building.

So what is your point? STM is a private school with a lower tutition whose facilities were built in the 80s. I'm no constructionist, but I believe modern building practices are better suited for cost effective aesthetics.

Lafayette High is a depressing facility, but judging the quality of education based on the facilities is top feeding at its finest.

My point is that STM, who most would consider Lafayette's best school, still falls incredibly short compared to even the oldest facilities in Denver Metro. When a state cares more about eradicating historical statues or what to do with a mediocre football coach than it's run-down educational facilities, you end up with the current state of education.

I don't understand why people in Louisiana don't put up more resistance to the poor standards accepted across the state.

I think most would consider ESA a better school if going by strictly academics. It's also more comparable tuition wise to the one you posted.

There is no doubt that this is the No. 1 problem with LA. Just look at the recent voting record; a new governor with no plan to improve education, the mayor in NOLA, the mayor in the capital city. At least the last governor tried something other than status quo. There are too many liberal voters in the state to ever expect change, I'm afraid.

I take it you went to school in Louisiana then based on your skills you present here in the OT.

Austin. Or another country. Strippers, blow, massages, and jet skis

One word sentence? Starting another 3 word sentence with Or? To top it off, your third sentence doesn't even end with a period. Nice job DA.
