Yes I prefer my buildings to have morals as opposed to, you know, just being an inanimate object.

Don't forget his anti-White hatred. That poster is a legit inferiority complexed racist that should be thanking honkeys instead, if he wants to hold on to the past so much.

Sounds like the state and local govt of White Castle needs to do better and more to supply sustainable workforces to their local economy.

Yes this only goes 1 way…we can frolic about the glories of yesteryear but if someone has an issue with it - “they’re not letting bygones be bygones”
So you’re telling me you’re the sheriff basically? LOL, yeah not a single good natured rationale person is following that logic.

Go ahead and present your plan, if it’s that easy.

How the hell do they let this happen?
I wonder if there will be any attempt to place liability via negligence. The fire was “out” and under control for hours before the reignite on, with the original damage limited to significant but still only a portion of the home.
If the original fire took the entire building that’s one thing. This seems like a missed opportunity to save the building given they even had firefighters comfortable enough to enter the building to inspect.

Since I had made my post originally, I’m doubting the fire was really “out”.

it obviously wasn’t completely out. But it was described as reignited by embers.
The point is wondering if there is something there that firefighters reasonably could have done that is under standard SOP. Very early in the thread someone was commenting they needed to do more than just pouring water in the windows.
Not blaming them, just wondering if that angle will emerge as the story develops.

enough of the mundane details, let’s get back to the racial angle!

Went there today, you can’t drive on river road, it’s blocked about a quarter mile each direction. You can walk or drive the levee. Lots of folks walking and riding the levee.

They might have shut that down too. I passed down Hwy 1 around 5:30, and there were cops with lights on top of the levee.

I 100% agree. So show the whips and chains, and the places where women were brutally raped against their will, and how men were lashed and beaten for trying to defend their wives. Do they show that?
And show the gravestones of the White men that died to give them freedom, end slavery, and left behind widows and children.
If your point of view is that the Civil war was all about slavery, then here is a White Man that died for no other reason than to free the slaves and black people from slavery.

I was there around 3pm, they would allow cars, trucks and 4 wheelers. Nothing on the river road.
The home is a shell of itself.

100% agree - why would anyone disagree with that ?

Even the down voters don’t know what they are talking about here.
The shacks were built somewhat recently.
They weren’t built for AirBnBs
They weren’t built for slaves.
Try to keep up you dolts.

You shouldn't personify inanimate objects. They hate when you do that.
