I just got back from dropping a tent and other things off at Napoleon and camp and the entire neutral ground is jammed packed already. Crowds will not be an issue today.

I'll do a deeper look post parades today but the general idea is this stalled front actually gets a punch south and we get some north flow to cool it off and dry it out for tomorrow.

Hope so, big fan of the Monday night parades myself.

I'm just a bit downtown for there and yeah, sun comes out, gets humid, then it'll rain. Just going to set the rain temp at about 72. Hits that, it'll start raining for the early parades. Going to be this through the start of Thoth and maybe even a bit later.

Looking pretty damn good for Bacchus tonight though.

Thanks for your updates, all week.
We rolled last night without a drop, until late late in the parade. Came down hard as hell for a good 20 min. The people stayed and we still delivered.
Overall is was way better than what was anticipated earlier in the week.
What a great day for everyone!!

Hail Endymion!

No joke.

Energy moving away today has lifted our convective temp. It's muggy and no relief in site. It's Louisiana as frick out here today.

Cool and dry would be perfect and the consensus is going that way. I'll take a miserable muggy Sunday for a good Monday honestly.

You ain't lying. I turned my A/C on today, just to remove some humidity out. I am right there with ya on Monday as well. Orpheus is our favorite parade.

There were some determined people on the last stretch of the endymion route....the rain wasn’t the scary part, the close by and loud thunderclaps were

I came prepared with shrimper boots nd dry clothes, bio on the lower level we pretty much stayed dry

Proteus and Orpheus are my favorites of the entire week. Orpheus has some art about it and throws stuff. Proteus doubles down on the artistic.

A little cool tonight but in general a perfect parade night. Zulu and Rex look to be a repeat of tonight weather wise. Temps should top out in the lower 60s imho, with slight clearing about the time Rex runs into the back of Zulu.

That north wind baw. Bringing the dry air in. We'll be clearing by afternoon for the trucks.
