100%.
Let's be clear here.
Guns (shudder) and bullets are umkay bad. Let's ban those.
So that's gone.
But evil/psycho("EP") intent remains.
Then EP is forced to seek other means. But those means are worse than small bullets flying, like large things smashing into crowds of people or gases made from household items choking crowds of people to death.
So, unwittingly as frick, we force EP to use a much more lethal mechanism. More lethal and more easily used than guns.

the fact that he posted it in a thread about guns suggests and implies that's exactly what he meant.
No it doesn't.

i did refer back to him for confirmation in the form of an interrogative clause.
The answer to that is still no.
Saying I like pie does not mean I hate ice cream.

So we could start by saying no retarded person should own a gun.
Dumb people voting is a much bigger problem than dumb people owning a gun. The kicker is that only the latter is a right.

Omit suicide by gun and the numbers drop drastically! But you know narrative and all!

You’re right of course, but you’re still gonna catch a lot of downvotes. The baw is strong here.

Having said that there are many people in this world that should not be allowed to have a weapon. And why in the link do everyone of them think it's funny to almost kill yourself or someone else?
These are the discussions we should be having regarding weapons as well as mental health.
There is a difference between someone with an actual mental health disorder, and someone who is just stupid/behaves stupidly. You have an argument for how we handle guns with people with real mental disorders, but you can't stop someone from purchasing/using a gun because you think they might act stupid.

I mentioned basically this a few days ago after the Vegas shooting and most who replied did not agree at all, which is odd as it seems like the most obvious thing in the world.

focusing on about .5% of accidental deaths vs around 20% seems somewhat misguided.

You can focus on both.
