You used to be able to claim the alarm clock didn't go off because the power went out when you overslept. Not no more, everyone has a phone alarm clock

And a porno tape or magazine was a prized possession.

It was all fun and games until you fell asleep and your mom walks into the room and sees what you were trying to watch.

Probably still around. But i remember it fondly as a kid. If i remember you got in this thing. Stood against the wall, and it began to spin and spin and spin. And all of the sudden there was no "gravity" so to speak. You could even spin upside down.

Ditto. Heck, being able to ride rides all day and get sick on fair/carnival food for 10 bucks is a distant memory.

I can remember in the early days of video rental stores (long before the national chains like Blockbuster came around) many places would have a room in the back with a curtain covering the door and a sign overhead that said "*ADULTS ONLY*.

Still comes to our country fair every year. Last year my son came out after riding it and had vomit from some girl all over his leg.

How bout this one? You got in it, and it would go round and round like a ferris wheel. Meanwhile you would be spinning and spinning. And if your lucky the guy operating it would give you a nice spin also!

Other 80's phrases, compliments of Harold Ramis:
"we're gonna have to do some serious _________."
"You're toast."
Person #1: "I'm gonna kick your arse."
Person #2: "Oooooooooh" (with jazz hand motions)
"Lighten up Francis"
"It. Is. Alive."
Pretty much every line from Caddyshack

When I was a kid, I spent 20 bucks once at the state fair playing Stripper in the arcade.

We Are the World. You would have thought they'd cured cancer, ended the Cold War, and fed every kid in Africa, with the amount of hoopla over that song.

Found this on google! Do you guys know what it is? It was popular down here in the mid 80s. It was from Exxon. Vintage "tiger tails" part of a slogan when LSU and Exxon had a "Put a tiger in your tank!" campaign.
I win!

I don't remember ever eating in Panchos once, but I remember eating the heck out of those sopapillas on my grandma's kitchen table.
