North LA baws: merge north LA with Texas or Arkansas?

Alexandria north. Merge with Texas or Arkansas. Who would be opposed to this? South Louisiana hates us. We are a completely different culture. Then we wouldn't have to worry about south Louisiana democrats running our state.

Someone should come up with a nifty name for the area you are describing. Tex-La-Ark or something similar.

kinda a weird melt.....LA. has a unique culture, not great, but different.....NO sucks arse as we all know. We could lose them to MS. and be better off.

Funny I had grandparent and great aunt from N. La. marry coonasses..french speaking and coonass as could get, but cook? Awesome. Weird knowing both cultures as I do, but it's cool. I like both. 
imo, they are really not that different except cooking and tempers. But both have those traits, difference is the how to mix....

Yeah dude, South LA is killing it!
Couldn't imagine why people from North Louisiana think dumb coonasses from south Louisiana dislike them.
